Why does it all have OS X icons? Kinda weird, probably fake. I see applications like iChat, Safari, Spotlight etc. I doubt Apple helped with this.

I believe it's just a theme for the Sugar UI that emulates the Mac interface. Or Sugar UI running on a Mac rather than an OLPC laptop. That might explain why iChat and Safari are running since the OS for the OLPC is definitely linux.

I'm not sure that was the point of the video though. I think he was just explaining the UI and what the UI is mean for since there are some people who criticize the UI for being too 2D looking and not pretty enough. Even though it's just a $200, 433Mhz laptop with no harddrive that's built for the 3rd world.

Anyway, I updated the post to let readers know it's not the real UI.
