I Play Way Too Many Video Games
I, as always it seems, have been playing alot of video games recently. I've come to the conclusion long ago that I don't like how much time I spend on it so I try to limit myself as much as I can. I'm not so bad that I'm losing relationships with my family and I'm shirking work but given how many hobbies and interests I have my free time is precious to me. And philisophically, games don't get you anything right? They don't make you a better person etc.
The other side of the coin is that some games are just too cool not to play. Take Morrowind for example, the sheer massive size and attention to detail, expandability, and replayability in the game makes it so engrossing that it's hard not to play it. Also, Operation Flashpoint. That game has all the same features mentioned above. The ability to shape the game and add content, in this case in the form of missions and addons, makes these games infinitly replayable. I just don't know where to begin.
Maybe sometime I can curb my desire to play games but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen soon.
